Bandung, 5 September 2025 — PT HGS was honored to host guests from Japan at HGS’s Bandung Operation Office. One of the guests had previously represented a leading Japanese technology corporation, established in 1915 and globally recognized for high-reliability marine electronics, advanced radar and navigation systems, and critical public safety communications. On this occasion, he visited in a personal capacity to discuss potential business collaborations, particularly in technology and human resource development, reflecting HGS’s proactive approach to exploring new avenues with global partners.
During the session, HGS introduced its portfolio of services, which spans three main categories:
- IT & Advanced Technology Services: advanced technology solutions, remote sensing and SAR data processing, information technology, and software development.
- Project Management Services: talent sourcing, training and capacity building, operational support, and partnership development.
- Business Consultation & Services: management and strategy advisory, business brokerage and solution implementation, investment and trading, as well as feasibility studies and market analysis.
On the technology side, several recent projects were highlighted to demonstrate these capabilities, including collaborations with Indonesian universities for outsourcing initiatives and a joint project with Chiba University to develop a web-based AI Disaster Mitigation Platform. These projects illustrated how HGS’s technological outputs could be applied in both Indonesia and Japan.
On the human resources development side, the guest shared insights into talent sourcing opportunities in Japan, which opened discussions on how Indonesian trainees could be better prepared for placement. In line with this, HGS highlighted its collaboration with Indonesian training centers (LPK) to support internship and SSW/TG programs. The discussions further generated ideas to strengthen collaborations among Japanese companies, Indonesian universities, and LPKs, particularly in preparing Indonesian trainees and workers for placement in Japan through job matching, interview preparation, language training, and career consultation.
With a broad portfolio that includes IT and advanced technologies such as SAR, project management covering talent sourcing, planning, and execution, as well as business and marketing services, HGS continues to offer versatile solutions across industries.
