Rising Number of Indonesians Studying and Working in Japan Sparks Demand for Japanese Language and Career Support

Jakarta, 27 September 2024 – Interest among Indonesians in studying and working in Japan continues to grow. As of May 2024, approximately 5,397 Indonesian students are enrolled in higher education institutions in Japan, nearly 75,000 participate in the Technical Intern Training Program (TITP), and over 44,000 hold Specified Skilled Worker status. Despite this rising demand, many learners struggle with insufficient JLPT preparation, limited access to certified instructors, and a lack of guidance for study or work placement in Japan.
